Welcome to ReadyGoCook! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the ReadyGoCook mobile application ("App") and website at www.ready-gocook.com ("Website"), collectively referred to as the "Service."

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

ReadyGoCook provides tools to:

• Import and parse recipes from various sources (websites, social media, images)
• Generate organized grocery lists from recipe ingredients
• Connect with third-party delivery services (Instacart, Walmart, Amazon) for grocery ordering
• Save and organize recipes in personal collections
• Plan meals and manage shopping needs

We do not sell groceries directly. All grocery purchases are made through third-party services subject to their own terms and conditions.

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. When creating an account, you agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your password secure and confidential
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

3.2 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account and use the app. To use grocery ordering features (Instacart integration), you must be at least 18 years old. If you are under 18, you may use other app features with parent or guardian permission.

3.3 Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for:

• Violation of these Terms
• Fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse of the Service or other users
• Extended periods of inactivity

You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the Service
• Impersonate any person or entity
• Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited messages
• Violate intellectual property rights of others

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Delivery Service Integrations

ReadyGoCook integrates with third-party delivery services including Instacart, Walmart, and Amazon. When you use these integrations:

• You are also subject to the third party's terms of service and privacy policy
• We facilitate the connection but do not control the third-party service
• Pricing, availability, and delivery are determined by the third party
• Issues with orders should be directed to the delivery service provider
• We are not responsible for the products, services, or actions of third parties

Our Service may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the content, products, or services offered by third parties.

5.3 Trademark and Availability Notice

Trademarks: Instacart, the Instacart logo, and other Instacart marks are trademarks of Maplebear Inc. d/b/a Instacart. All other trademarks are the property of their respective owners. ReadyGoCook is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instacart.

Service Availability: Grocery delivery via Instacart is subject to availability in your area. Not all products, stores, or delivery options may be available. Pricing, product selection, and delivery times are determined solely by Instacart and may vary by location. We do not guarantee Instacart service availability or specific delivery windows.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our Content

The Service, including its design, features, graphics, and content created by us, is owned by ReadyGoCook and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

6.2 Your Content

You retain ownership of recipes and content you create. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to:

• Store and display your content within the App
• Process your content to provide features (e.g., parsing ingredients)
• Create backups for data protection

We do not claim ownership of your recipes or share them publicly without your consent.

6.3 Recipe Content

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import and use recipes. We provide tools to import publicly available recipes but do not guarantee their accuracy or that their use complies with copyright law.

7. Privacy & Cookies

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

8. Disclaimers

8.1 Service Provided "As Is"

• Merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose

8.2 Recipe Information

We do not guarantee the accuracy of recipe information, nutritional data, or ingredient lists extracted by our system. Always verify important information, especially for:

• Food allergies and dietary restrictions
• Nutritional values and calorie counts
• Cooking temperatures and times

8.3 Third-Party Products

We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or availability of products from third-party delivery services. Product matching is provided as a convenience but may not always be accurate.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, READYGOCOOK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY:

• Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, data, or goodwill
• Damages arising from your use or inability to use the Service
• Actions or content of third-party services
• Unauthorized access to your data

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ReadyGoCook, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you submit or share through the Service

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes:

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page
• For material changes, we will provide notice through the App or email
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

If you disagree with changes, you should stop using the Service and delete your account.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

13. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a legal claim, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at support@ready-gocook.com. We will try to resolve your concern within 30 days.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect. The unenforceable provision will be modified to the extent necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ReadyGoCook regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
