Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Danville Digital Labs, LLC ("Danville Digital Labs", "we", "us", "our"), the provider of the ReadyGoCook mobile applications, the website at ready-gocook.com and related services (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, installing the app, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of the Service

ReadyGoCook helps you keep track of what is in your pantry, import recipes from websites, social media, photos and text, decide what to cook with what you have, plan meals, and build grocery lists that you can send to a delivery service. Some features use artificial-intelligence models operated by third parties (see Section 7). Some features are available only with a paid subscription (see Section 5). We may add, change or remove features at any time.

3. Eligibility and Accounts

3.1 Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom you must be at least 16, or the age of digital consent in your country.
• You must be at least 18 years old to use grocery delivery integrations; the retailer may impose a higher age for restricted products such as alcohol.
• You must not be barred from using the Service under the laws of the United States or any other jurisdiction.

3.2 Your Account

You may sign in with an email address and password, a phone number, or a Google, Apple or Facebook account. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly at support@ready-gocook.com if you believe your account has been used without permission.

3.3 Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings > Delete Account or as described on our account deletion page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service; where practical we will give you notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 6, 8, 9, 10 and 12) will survive.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of another person's rights, including intellectual-property and privacy rights;
• upload or share content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or that infringes copyright or trademark;
• import content that you do not have the right to access, or circumvent access controls on a third-party site;
• probe, scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer or interfere with the Service, our servers or our security measures, or use automated means to access the Service other than through the official apps;
• share your account, resell the Service, or use it to build a competing product;
• submit content or requests designed to manipulate, jailbreak or extract the AI models behind the Service.

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Plans

The core features of ReadyGoCook are free. ReadyGoCook Pro and ReadyGoCook Premium are paid, auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock additional features such as higher import limits, cloud sync, analytics and (Premium) family sharing. The features and prices of each plan are shown in the app before you buy.

5.2 Billing and Renewal

• Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple (through the App Store) or Google (through Google Play), not by us directly. Your purchase is also subject to the store's terms.
• The price and billing period (monthly or yearly) are shown at the point of purchase. Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase.
• Your subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancel any time in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, and you keep access until then.
• Free trials or introductory prices apply only when they are shown to you in the app at the time of purchase. If a trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription at the price shown unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• If we change a subscription price, the store will notify you in advance and, where the store requires it, ask for your consent before the new price applies.

5.3 Refunds and Right of Withdrawal

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies and applicable consumer law; request them through your store account. If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days; by starting your subscription you acknowledge that we begin supplying the Service immediately and that this may affect your right of withdrawal under the store's terms. Nothing in these Terms limits any refund right you have under mandatory law.

5.4 Family Sharing and Premium Pause

Premium lets you create a family group and invite members. If the family owner's Premium subscription lapses, shared family features are paused: members keep read access to shared content, nothing is deleted, and sharing resumes when the subscription is restored.

5.5 Restoring Purchases

You can restore an existing subscription on a new device from the subscription screen in the app, using the same store account.

6. Your Content and Licenses

6.1 Ownership

You keep all rights to the recipes, photos, notes, pantry and list data you create or import ("Your Content"). We do not claim ownership of Your Content.

6.2 License to Us

You grant Danville Digital Labs a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, display and transmit Your Content solely to operate, secure and improve the Service for you, including sending it to the processors described in our Privacy Policy. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for the limited retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.

6.3 Share Links and Family Sharing

If you create a share link for a recipe, you authorize us to make a copy of that recipe publicly viewable by anyone who has the link, without a login, until you revoke the link. If you add content to a family group, you authorize every member of that group to view and, where the group settings allow, edit it. Do not share content you do not have the right to share.

6.4 Your Responsibilities for Imported Content

Importing a recipe copies text and images from a third-party source into your private library. You are responsible for making sure your use of imported content respects the rights of the creator and the source's terms. We keep creator attribution with imported recipes and encourage you to credit creators when you cook their food. The Service is for personal, non-commercial use of imported content.

6.5 Our Content

The Service, including its software, design, logos, text and the recipe-parsing and planning technology behind it, is owned by Danville Digital Labs or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the apps on devices you own or control, for personal, non-commercial purposes, in accordance with these Terms and the rules of the app store you downloaded them from. Recipes are ideas and lists of ingredients that anyone may use; the specific text, photos and layouts remain the property of whoever created them.

6.6 Feedback

If you send us suggestions or feedback, you agree we may use them without restriction or compensation.

7. Third-Party Services

7.1 AI Processing

Recipe parsing, meal planning, suggestions and nutrition estimates are produced by artificial-intelligence models (Google's Gemini through Vertex AI) and by helper services that fetch the links you provide. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or inconsistent. You must check ingredients, quantities, cooking temperatures and times, allergens and nutrition figures before relying on them.

7.2 Grocery Delivery (Instacart)

Exporting a grocery list opens a shopping list at Instacart. Instacart's own terms govern anything you buy there: product availability, prices, substitutions, service fees, delivery windows and refunds are determined solely by Instacart and the retailer. We are not a party to those purchases and do not guarantee availability in your area. We may earn an affiliate commission on qualifying orders at no extra cost to you. Instacart, the Instacart logo and other Instacart marks are registered trademarks of Maplebear Inc. d/b/a Instacart; ReadyGoCook is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instacart. We currently do not integrate with any other grocery delivery service.

7.3 Sign-In Providers and Stores

Google, Apple and Meta govern the accounts you use to sign in under their own terms. Apple and Google govern your app-store account and subscriptions under their terms.

7.4 Links

The Service links to third-party websites and social-media posts. We do not control and are not responsible for their content or practices.

8. Copyright Complaints

We respect intellectual-property rights and expect our users to do the same. If you believe content available through the Service (for example a publicly shared recipe page) infringes your copyright, send a notice to support@ready-gocook.com with the subject "Copyright notice" containing: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed; (3) identification of the material you claim is infringing and enough information for us to locate it (for example the share link); (4) your contact information; (5) a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent or the law; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner. We will remove or disable access to material identified in a valid notice and notify the user who posted it. A user who believes material was removed by mistake may send us a counter-notice containing the elements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Disclaimers

9.1 Service Provided "As Is"

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that imports will succeed for every link.

9.2 Recipes, Nutrition and Allergens

Recipe information, ingredient lists, nutrition figures, expiration estimates and allergen flags produced by the Service are estimates generated automatically from the content you import and the preferences you enter. They are not medical, nutritional or food-safety advice. Always verify product labels and consult a qualified professional for allergies, medical conditions, pregnancy, infant feeding or special diets.

9.3 Third-Party Products

We do not guarantee the quality, safety or availability of products from third-party delivery services. Product matching is a convenience and may be inaccurate.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties; in that case the exclusions above apply to the fullest extent permitted by law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Danville Digital Labs and its owners, employees and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data or goodwill, arising out of or relating to the Service, even if advised of the possibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim or one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100). Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or the statutory rights of consumers in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia or elsewhere.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Danville Digital Labs and its owners, employees and agents from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or of another person's rights. This section does not apply to consumers to the extent that it is prohibited by the law of the country where they live.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you have a dispute with us, contact us first at support@ready-gocook.com and we will try to resolve it informally within 30 days. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Contra Costa County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction, except that consumers who live outside the United States may also rely on the courts and mandatory consumer laws of their country of residence. These Terms do not contain an arbitration clause or a class-action waiver.

13. Additional Terms for Apple Users

If you use ReadyGoCook on an Apple device, the following also applies, as required by Apple:

• These Terms are between you and Danville Digital Labs only, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content.
• Your license to the app is limited to a non-transferable license to use it on Apple-branded products that you own or control, as permitted by the Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, except that the app may be accessed by other accounts associated with you through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• If the app fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app to you; to the maximum extent permitted by law Apple has no other warranty obligation, and any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses attributable to a failure to conform to a warranty are our responsibility.
• We, not Apple, are responsible for addressing any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your possession or use of it, including product-liability claims, claims that the app fails to conform to a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer-protection, privacy or similar laws.
• If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes its intellectual-property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement and discharge of that claim.
• You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• You must comply with applicable third-party terms (for example your wireless carrier's terms) when using the app.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

If you use ReadyGoCook on Android, your use of Google Play and of the app is also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We will post the updated Terms on this page with a new "Last Updated" date and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email before they take effect. If you keep using the Service after the effective date, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your account.

15. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and Danville Digital Labs about the Service. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them to a successor of our business.
